The copper certified reference material (CS-075b) is very useful as a standard for verification and as a daily certified check standard. It is a good replacement for the BCR® 075 which is now exhausted. The reference material is pickled and pre-cut to custom weights between 250 mg and 500 mg according to customer needs.

The nominal values in the copper certified reference material are derived from a major U.S. magnet wire manufacturer's material acceptance limits. These low- to mid-range values are very useful for daily certified calibration checks performed by  electrolytic primary copper producers, solvent extraction electrowon copper producers, and high purity copper consumers.

This certified reference material is traceable to: NIST 498, 3151, 3103a, 3106, 3126a, 3136, 3128, 3102a, 3149, 3161 and 3168a; and to BCR® 075 and 074.
